Ireland's high performance computing centre wins international award

The Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC) has won a major award in the prestigious HPCwire Readers' Choice Awards, often called the Oscars of high performance computing.

The awards are often referred to as the Academy Awards of the high performance computing sector.

The Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC) has been recognised for the 'Most Innovative Use of high performance computing (HPC) in Financial Services' in the prestigious HPCwire Readers' Choice Awards.

The awarding ceremony took place earlier this week in Salt Lake City, USA, during SC12, the largest high performance computing in the world.
