Ireland second in shopping centre investment

The returns from investments in shopping centres in Ireland last year was the second highest out of 15 European countries surveyed by the Investment Property Databank and CBRE.

France showed the highest returns from shopping centres at 24.9 per cent, compared to 20.5 per cent in Ireland.

The figures illustrate why so many developers have turned towards the shopping centre market in recent years as a means of boosting their wealth.
