Ireland is the fifth most expensive place in Europe to buy electronic goods such as DVDs, computers and televisions.

Ireland is the fifth most expensive place in Europe to buy electronic goods such as DVDs, computers and televisions.

Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, surveyed the price of 130 consumer electronics products and about 100 household appliances across Europe. The survey analysed prices in 37 European countries, including all the EU member states, EU candidate countries and a number of other countries, such as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and some of the Balkan states.
