Irish investors are switching their attention from retail property in Britain to the office sector, in the belief that it is primed for rental growth.
Retail sales in Britain have been poor so far this year and a number of fashion retailers have issued profit-warnings. By contrast, interest from occupiers is growing in prime office areas of London, and the general belief is that rents are set to rise over the next 18 months.
