Investors fail in Covent Garden bid

Irish property developer Paddy McKillen and investment company D2 Private have lost out in the race to buy Covent Garden Market in London, valued at around €600 million.

Irish property developer Paddy McKillen and investment company D2 Private have lost out in the race to buy Covent Garden Market in London, valued at around €600 million.

Reports in Britain suggest joint venture partners Capital & Counties and GE Capital will be named shortly as the new owners of the property.
