Investors back Corvil despite ‘glitch’

Dublin software firm Corvil is ‘‘back on track’’ after finalising a €9 million investment from its existing backers, according to chief executive Donal Byrne.

Dublin software firm Corvil is ‘‘back on track’’ after finalising a €9 million investment from its existing backers, according to chief executive Donal Byrne.

Corvil raised the funds after discovering a software glitch, which set back the firm’s progress by at least a year. Byrne said that Corvil was now testing a ‘‘next generation’’ version of its software, which measures the ability of internet protocol networks to handle traffic....
