Irish tax break investors are being approached to finance Citizen Charlie, the forthcoming television drama charting the rise and fall of the disgraced former taoiseach Charles Haughey.

Element Pictures, the Irish film and television company, has instructed accountancy firm Crowe Howarth to raise €3 million under the Section 481 tax relief for film and TV production.
