Investor concern over deposits placed with SOP

A dispute has arisen between the Irish overseas property investment company Simple Overseas Properties (SOP) and a number of its clients in relation to deposits which were placed on properties in developments in Morocco and Spain.

A dispute has arisen between the Irish overseas property investment company Simple Overseas Properties (SOP) and a number of its clients in relation to deposits which were placed on properties in developments in Morocco and Spain.

According to one investor, Brian Kelly from Blanchardstown, west Dublin, a group of clients is considering taking legal action against the firm over the issue. Karl Morris, who heads up SOP, declined to comment on the issue when contacted...
