Investors are waiting patiently in the wings for opportunities to emerge.

Investors are waiting patiently in the wings for opportunities to emerge.

The slowdown in the investment market which started in the latter half of 2007 has taken firm hold during the first half of 2008,withvery little transactional activity occurring.

The record levels of turnover recorded in recent years peaked in 2006 at €3 billion, but declined to around €2 billion in 2007, and it appears unlikely that the €1 billion mark will be breached in the current year.
