I hope that, following Minister for Finance Brian Cowen's review of investment tax reliefs, he ensures that the wealth generated from property is directed towards funding indigenous businesses.

I hope that, following Minister for Finance Brian Cowen's review of investment tax reliefs, he ensures that the wealth generated from property is directed towards funding indigenous businesses.

If these tax breaks - with higher thresholds than the current €31,750 for BES - are not a runner, then he should make sure significant funds are invested in high-potential startups (not just the €80 million spent on 65 companies in 2004).
