Investment funds continued to expand strongly in the first quarter, the Central Bank said today.

The net asset value of investment funds (IFs) resident in Ireland expanded by over 4 per cent in the first three months of the year, rising to €1,115 billion, up from €1,070 at the end of 2013.
Since Q2 of 2009, the industry has more than tripled in size on a net asset value basis.
