A specialist London investment firm, in which members of the Guinness family have taken a 25 per cent stake, is in talks with Irish institutions and wealthy individuals over a potential joint venture here.

Arundel Iveagh, which manages more than $600 million (€450 million) on behalf of Guinness investment vehicles, said last week that it expected to sign a formal deal before the end of the year.
