New York Attorney General Elliot Spitzer has launched an investigation into a million-dollar green-card scam possibly affecting hundreds of undocumented young Irish.

The attorney general's investigation is focused on Christine Owad from Wyndham, New York, who has posed as a lawyer and has allegedly filed forms to the immigration services for more than 200 undocumented Irish people.
