Intune enters €5m partnership deal with government

The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources has entered into a €5 million partnership deal with Dublin company Intune Networks to develop an exemplar communications test bed, which will create 80 new jobs.

The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources has entered into a €5 million partnership deal with Dublin company Intune Networks to develop an exemplar communications test bed, which will create 80 new jobs.

Under the agreement, the department will pay €5million to develop the first phase of a technology that it said had the potential to replace thousands of silicon computer chips used in internet switches.
