Growth in internet advertising, currently proceeding at an explosive rate, is set to moderate globally in the next five years, but it will still dramatically outperform all other advertising categories, according to the latest outlook from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

PwC is forecasting a compound annual increase of 18.3 per cent worldwide in online advertising, starting off with 28.4 per cent growth this year and dropping back to 11.5 per cent in 2011.
