International conference centre due for 2009
An investment of up to €4 billion will be made in the new Spencer Dock quarter of Dublin.
This is about €1.5 billion more than projected by the backers of the development just two years ago. Some 52 acres of the 81-acre Liffey-side site is being put up by C IE, which is developing the site as part of the Spencer Dock International Conference Centre Consortium.
