Whyte’s forthcoming sale has a strong international flavour with 20 lots by artists including Miró, Warhol, Hirst, and Banksy, all from the collection of the Taylor Gallery in Belfast, now in administration.

Likely to fetch the top price is Le Courtisan Grotesque No 6, a 1965 watercolour by Joan Miró, inspired by a 1621 satirical play about the court of Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu, and expected to realise €60,000-€80,000.
