Swedish design shares the simple, timeless, functional qualities that typify Scandinavian style, yet it embodies several key differences.

Anne Tiainen-Harris, a Finnish-born, Britain-based consultant who specialises in marketing Scandinavian design, sums up what sets Swedish design apart.
