Interiors: It's easy being green
The cherry blossoms are starting to bloom, and the grass is angling for its first cut of the year. So what better time to be inspired by nature at home? Margaret O'Brien reports.
Whether in fabrics, wallpaper or accessories, bird and flower motifs are plentiful this year, but if subtlety is your middle name you can use colours inspired by nature to bring the outside indoors.
Green, the colour most associated with nature, is a balancing, calming colour, and perfect as a foil for a hectic household. Blues remind us of the sea and sky, but need careful consideration to successfully choose calm and not cold tones.
