A new music and entertainment channel that aims to tap into the youth market’s appetite for multimedia and interactive options was launched last week.

The channel, Magnet Infinity TV (MITV), is a joint venture between broadband firm Magnet Entertainment and Intermission Studio, a production firm.

The channel will be accessible to anyone subscribing to the Magnet home TV service (at present, that’s around 11,000 homes), but its creators are expecting the biggest audience...
