Insurance companies must pay out, says Cork bishop

The Bishop of Cork, John Buckley, has said that many victims of last month’s floods in Cork have not yet been given the go-ahead to carry out necessary repairs.

The Bishop of Cork, John Buckley, has said that many victims of last month’s floods in Cork have not yet been given the go-ahead to carry out necessary repairs.

Buckley said insurance companies had a moral obligation to pay out quickly to those who had paid insurance premiums, so that people could get back to normal.
