New details are emerging this weekend about the sale of loans connected to the former Anglo Irish Bank, with a US private equity giant about to land loans connected to Arnotts, and loans linked to the Jurys Inn hotel chain not finding a buyer.

As the €22.5 billion liquidation of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) escalates, it can be confirmed that Apollo Asset Management, the US investment firm, is on the verge this weekend...
