The Holy Communion was scheduled to be held on a Saturday. But so was the One Direction concert. And a number of the kids - and their long-suffering parents - had planned to attend. The small Raheen Gaelscoil in Limerick suddenly found itself with a very big problem.

A meeting was held between the parents and teachers. There was uproar, with ticket-holding parents heatedly arguing that the earmarked May 24, 2014 Communion date be changed...
