Innovative energy battery firm wins €20m Indian order

An Irish firm which has developed an innovative battery energy technology has won a €20 million order from India.

An Irish firm which has developed an innovative battery energy technology has won a €20 million order from India.

RedT, which is based in Clontarf in Dublin, plans to start manufacturing the key parts of its renewable batteries in Dundalk in Co Louth next year after a fund-raising round which begins next month. The firm will start employing 25 people, and aims to have 300 people working on the Dundalk site within three years.
