There is speculation in the Australian media that Independent News and Media (INM) chief executive Vincent Crowley could return to Australia to take the reins at media group APN.

INM owns 28.95 per cent of APN and has been behind a dramatic boardroom clearout in recent days. A number of publications including the Australian said that Crowley was being tipped to return.
