Independent News & Media is to explore all buyer interest in its South African business, despite being pursued by a local consortium which has offered €240 million.

Independent News & Media (INM) is to explore all buyer interest in its South African business, despite being hotly pursued by a local consortium which has put a €240 million offer on the table.

The consortium is headed by South African businessman Iqbal Survé of Sekunjalo Holdings, who flew to Ireland to attend the recent INM agm.
