Independent News & Media may shed as many as 100 jobs in Ireland, or around ten per cent of its staff, its chief executive Vincent Crowley told Newstalk radio this morning.
Independent News & Media may shed as many as 100 jobs in Ireland, or around ten per cent of its staff, its chief executive Vincent Crowley told Newstalk radio this morning.
"The environment is pretty tough and there's no sign of a pickup," he said. "There is a structural change taking place. Part of our agreement with our lenders is that we will have funds to push more aggressively into the digital arena."
