The board of Independent News and Media (INM) is set to throw out a proposal by Denis O’Brien to invest €100 million in the company tomorrow.

O’Brien outlined the plan at a meeting last Friday which sources described as ‘bad tempered’. His proposal involves a new vehicle Rescue Cotaking a 67 per cent stake in the company.
