The government’s proposed social finance initiative will help to tackle social inequality in Ireland, the country’s leading social investment provider said last week.
Clann Credo, the investment fund that has given more than €10 million to community-based projects since it was set up by the Presentation Order in 1996, said the government’s plan would make it easier for social projects to get the necessary funds to go ahead.
