Indian restaurant owner plans expansion

The owner of an Indian restaurant chain is investing €600,000 in his first restaurant in Dublin city centre, and has plans to open further outlets in Cork and Galway.

The owner of an Indian restaurant chain is investing €600,000 in his first restaurant in Dublin city centre, and has plans to open further outlets in Cork and Galway.

Tariq Salahuddin, who set up Indie Spice in Belfast in 1999, will open the Indie Dhaba Street Café on Anne's Lane, off Grafton Street, on Friday. The premises, which was formerly occupied by the French restaurant Venu, will seat 140 diners and will open for lunch...
