The first project to go before An Bord Pleanala under the new Strategic Infrastructure Bill will be tested in the courts, according to waste incineration company Indaver.

The Strategic Infrastructure Bill, which will fast-track large-scale projects to the board, bypassing the local planning process, was announced last week by environment minister, Dick Roche.
