The clock is ticking for anyone who’s liable to pay income tax under the self-assessment system, with the pay-and-file date of October 31 fast approaching.

Taxpayers who opt to make their return and pay their tax bill online via the Revenue Online Service (Ros) have a little longer, and can pay and file online until midnight on Monday, November 16.
