Femme fatales don't come much more career-endangering than Faria Alam, the 39-year-old secretary at the centre of the latest Football Association (FA) controversy in Britain.
Alam, described by the Guardian as “a woman apparently in greater demand at Football Association headquarters than complimentary tickets for the new Wembley'‘ had already revealed to tabloids the story of her affair with the England manger, Sven-Goran Eriksson, and the FA's chief executive, Mark Palios.
