The storm brewing over the heads of Poland’s government looks set to continue as Polish prosecutors investigate claims that deputy prime minister Andrzej Lepper hired a woman to work for him on the condition she have sex with him.

The claims were published by the Gazeta Wyborcza paper, which said that Lepper invited the woman, Aneta Krawczyk, to a hotel room in the Polish parliament complex five years ago, after she was promised a job in a regional party office. According to Krawczyk, Lepper told her he would hire her if she agreed to have sex with him.
