Humming birds buzzing from bloom to bloom. Pigs and chooks scurrying into the bush as the crystal waters of the Rio Yarababble along a rocky gorge. We had arrived - at last – in the pastoral bliss of the tiny settlement of Santo Domingo, ready to climb El Pico Turquino in the Sierra Maestra, the highest mountain range in Cuba.
