Lyons is chief executive of the Bon Secours Healthcare Group, the largest operator of private hospitals in Ireland. The group has four hospitals in Ireland and provides convalescent and elderly care at Bon Secours Care Village outside Cork city.

His track record at Bon Secours has been impressive. Turnover has almost doubled since his arrival five years ago and the group has returned to profitability. Lyons was appointed in 2001,when the hospital group was struggling....
