The Irish Music Rights Organisation (Imro) has launched a multimillion euro court action against the organisers of the Electric Picnic music festival.
Imro, which collects royalties from the public playing of copyrighted music, is claiming that it was not paid all outstanding royalties from music played at the festival. It is suing Pod Concerts, the music promotion company controlled by businessman John Reynolds.
