Cathal McHugh’s family have been working in the grocery business in north Co Dublin for more than 40 years. His father, Gerry, opened a shop on Rosemount Avenue in Artane in 1962, and McHugh grew up working in the business.

When his father retired, McHugh and his brother Diarmuid took over the running of the family business.
