IMO anger over homeless psychiatry patients

The Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) has written to junior minister Kathleen Lynch requesting an urgent meeting as it said the HSE was ignoring the problem of acutely ill homeless psychiatry patients and had failed to provide a solution.

Dr Ray Walley, chairman of the GP committee for the IMO, said he was “appalled with the lack of urgency” shown by the HSE to date.
