The International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) is facing stiff competition from emerging markets, according to the chief executive of the Dublin International Insurance and Management Association (DIMA).
Speaking ahead of the European Insurance Forum in Dublin, Sarah Goddard said that although the IFSC had a good mix of established resident companies and a good rate of retention, the financial services sector must work hard to retain its position in the market.
