IDA to pay legal costs of six people over CPO

IDA Ireland has agreed to pay the legal costs of a family during hearings into its compulsory purchase of a 40-hectare farm beside Intel's plant in Co Kildare.

IDA Ireland has agreed to pay the full legal costs of six family members during hearings into the agency's compulsory purchase of a 40-hectare farm next to Intel's semi-conductor plant in Co Kildare.

The development agency agreed to pay the legal fees of solicitors and barristers for Catherine Reid, who owned the farm, and each of her five children, including her son, who is now attempting to overturn the IDA's purchase order.
