Specific regions are being targeted by IDA Ireland for investment by international pharma companies, with three new job announcements due in the next two months.

IDA Ireland is focusing on areas - including Mayo, Sligo and Waterford - that have had problems attracting investment in recent years. Two "sizeable" job announcements in the life sciences sectors are expected by the end of March.
