ICTU rejects Croke Park, will resist pay cuts

UPDATE: The Irish Congress of Trade Unions said it would resist any attempt to impose pay cuts unilaterally across the public sector.

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions's council has endorsed its members' rejection of Croke Park II and said it would resist any attempt to impose pay cuts unilaterally across the public sector.

It released the following statement: "The Executive Council of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions has today (April 17) unanimously endorsed the outcome of the ballot of public sector workers, which resulted in the rejection of proposals – known as Croke Park II...
