IBRC's mortgage book attracts 25 potential bidders

Private equity giant Apollo Asset Management and Australian lender Pepper Home Loans are among those circling IBRC's auctioned €1.8 billion mortgage book.

Private equity giant Apollo Asset Management and Australian lender Pepper Home Loans are among the 25 potential bidders circling a €1.8 billion mortgage book being auctioned by the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC).

GE Money, the banking division of US conglomerate General Electric, has also sought information about the mortgage book, which was put up for sale last week as part of the liquidation of the bank.
