Irish Bank Resolution Corporation’s legal action against accounting firm Ernst and Young is to be heard in the Commercial Court and has been listed for May 2013.

Ernst & Young has said previously that it will “vigorously defend” itself against any legal action by Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, formerly Anglo Irish Bank, in relation to its work as auditor of the lender before it was nationalised in 2009.
