The former Anglo Irish Bank has initiated legal action regarding the Maple Ten loans, one of the most controversial financial deals in Irish corporate history.

The Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) has filed legal papers related to the Belfast businessman Paddy McKillen and property developer Gerard Maguire over their Maple Ten borrowings from Anglo Irish Bank.
