IBRC steps up its legal salvo against Fingleton

The Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) is escalating its legal actions against former Irish Nationwide chief executive Michael Fingleton and several other former directors of the collapsed building society.

The special liquidators of IBRC will tomorrow petition the High Court to have their cases against the bankers transferred to the court's commercial division,

The move would expedite the litigation against the former Irish nationwide bosses, and bring an early hearing date. The bank lodged papers...
