The former Anglo Irish Bank has launched a multimillion euro legal action against the wife of its bankrupt former chairman Sean FitzPatrick, The Sunday Business Post can reveal.

The Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) is suing Catriona FitzPatrick in the High Court, over disputed assets worth between €3 million and €5 million.
