IBRC bid to have McCaughey case fast tracked

The former Anglo Irish bank is escalating its legal battle against Gerry McCaughey, the multimillionaire founder of Century Homes.

The former Anglo Irish bank is escalating its legal battle against Gerry McCaughey, the multimillionaire founder of Century Homes.

The special liquidators of the Irish bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) will tomorrow petition the High Court to have their cases against the businessman transferred to the court's commercial division.

The bank is seeking summary judgment against McCaughey, but the businessman is defending the case.
