IBRC allowed pursue case on Fingleton bonus, court rules

The commercial court has allowed IBRC to pursue a legal case against Michael Fingelton.

The commercial court has allowed Irish Bank Resolution to pursue a legal case against Michael Fingelton, as it seeks the return of a bonus and expenses paid to the former chief executive of Irish Nationwide Building Society.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly said the case is likely to return to court in January. Bill Shipsey, a lawyer for the former INBS executive, said Fingelton will defend himself in any court.
